Solutions: Tech Consultants or ‘Solutions’ is a new partnership between Alice Liddell and Saul Tyr, based in Canada. This client-oriented consultation service intends to consult, optimize, and educate on a personal level with respect to computers, the internet, home theatre and home entertainment. Focusing on individual clients and small businesses, a range of both tangible and intangible technical services will be offered to complement consultation results. Possessing the knowledge and capability to carry out much of the work internally, excess work will also be carried out by support staff or third party technicians. Business hours of operation will be based on the needs and preferences of the client, but will typically be weeknights and weekends with prearranged exceptions.


The partnership between Liddell & Tyr is formed and revolves around the technical knowledge and experience of Liddell, balanced with the business foundation and sales experience of Tyr. Together they possess the skills and tools necessary to meet and exceed both the needs of the clients and the demands of running a successful business.

The personal and professional worlds are both becoming increasingly reliant upon technology for everything from basic needs, to problem-solving, to luxurious endeavours. Technology is constantly changing and evolving as familiar concepts become antiquated and newer advances are introduced and utilized. As system components themselves become more advanced with more features, they also tend to become more complicated and costly, requiring greater investments of both time and money. Human Resources

Solutions aims to be a successful personal consultant company by providing clients with the answers and strategies they need to get what they desire from a wide range of technologies. This success hinges on the balance between the technical facet, and the business facet of the company. The partnership between Saul Tyr and Luke Alice Liddell with the support of freelance staff is a clear indicator of this balance.

Alice Liddell is the executive manager and lead technician. Involvement in the tech industry for almost two decades and possessing extensive experience with computers and the Internet, Liddell’s primary responsibility will be overseeing the technical side of the business. While handling and monitoring clients’ online needs, she will also be maintaining Solutions own online presence. The majority of the technical hands-on work will be performed by Liddell along with supervising a network of experienced, specialized support staff to handle what will be an increasing workload.

Tyr is the operations manager, and responsible for overseeing the business side of the company. He has a strong foundation in business administration and finance, and is responsible for budgeting, finances, and administration. Tyr is also performing the duties of retail manager to oversee the purchase of stock inventory, acquiring necessary components for clients, and retail intended for Solutions growth and expansion. Tyr possesses expertise in the Home Theatre aspect of the business, and is responsible for both installations and management of the applicable support staff.

Promotion and advertising is managed by both Liddell & Tyr, collaborating on the planning and execution of promotional events, promotional material, and advertising decisions and implementation. This marketing is based on years of experience working for nationwide corporations in the media industry. The client relations resulting from the aforementioned promotions, including but not limited to consults, seminars, and networking are the responsibilities of both Liddell & Tyr as they both possess extensive experience in sales and customer service.

Staying on the cutting edge of technology is inherently most important. Continuous education, experience with new technology to be achieved through trade shows, and industry publications, as well formal education in various fields will be undertaken by both Liddell & Tyr, as well as any pertinent support staff interested and qualified in such endeavours.

The support staff network is comprised of specialized and experienced associates and affiliates who contribute to the business in varied ways. The roster of support staff and their specific contribution will vary greatly depending on the clients needs on a by-contract basis and the overall workload. Management of staff is the responsibility of Tyr, while Liddell will oversee the technical work generated. In the future as client base, workload, and profits increase, Solutions will hire existing freelance staff on a more permanent basis becoming regular, indentured staff, ultimately leading to the hiring of management for staff .


The mission for Solutions is to Consult, Optimize, and Educate. From conversing with the client to decipher their own personal needs and desires, to ensuring the technology involved is running the way it should to meet those needs, and teaching clients to achieve those desires is a clear vision in the minds of both Liddell & Tyr, as well as the network supporting them.
